I am a photographer with an eye for detail, aiming to capture the beauty of a moment and the beauty of nature. I’m drawn to high contrast, rich colors, and interesting light. My greatest inspiration comes from light itself as well as my children. Whether traveling to new places or exploring my own town, I love to pause and take in the unique qualities of my surroundings in a thoughtful and creative way. I own a photography business shooting families, high school seniors, and headshots, and stay busy in my free time with several ongoing projects involving creative portraiture with my children. I’m a former research scientist whose love of learning has translated to photography; I am always eager to take classes and read about this art.
